Half-length Photograph of Astaire from his 1936 RKO film, Follow The Fleet. Signed in red ink in the across the light left portion of his image. Astaire is dressed in his white sailor's suit and is shown looking to his left and pointing at himself. The black and white photograph measures 8 inches wide by 10 inches high.

"Follow the Fleet," a musical comedy film with a nautical theme, for which Irving Berlin wrote the music and lyrics, was the fifth pairing of Astaire & Rogers. It followed "Top Hat" and might have been totally eclipsed it it hadn't been that it contained some of their most prized duets, including "Let Yourself Go," "I'm Putting All My Eggs in One Basket," and the iconic, "Let's Face the Music and Dance."

Matted in white and blue in a gold gilt frame; dimensions measure 13 wide by 15 1/2 inches high.
